Mercy Chinwo Wins Best Gospel Artist at TRACE Awards 2025

 

Zanzibar, Tanzania – February 26, 2025 – Renowned Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has been awarded Best Gospel Artist at the prestigious TRACE Awards 2025. The event, held at The Mora Resort, Zanzibar, celebrated outstanding musical achievements across Africa and the global Afro-descendant community.

 

Mercy Chinwo, known for her soul-stirring hits such as Excess Love, Obinasom, and Wonder, delivered an emotional acceptance speech, dedicating the award to God, her fans, and her supporters worldwide.

 

“This award is a testament to the power of gospel music in touching lives and transforming hearts,” Chinwo said.

 

The TRACE Awards 2025 featured some of the biggest names in African music, with Nigerian artists dominating multiple categories. Chinwo’s recognition further cements her status as one of the most influential gospel artists of her generation.
