Opening a Filechooser dialog in a Specific folder.

I do use Ada but most routines such as Set_Current_Folder are not language specific.

I tried to open a specific folder to enter there a new file or ead a file whith the gtk Chooser
I used the statement:
      b := Set_Current_Folder(File_Open_Dialog, To_String(Inp_folder));
Instead of the dialo window contaning the  complete set of files in Inp_Folder I got the window in containing the link to that page.
How do I get the window containing the complete set of files without further clicjing on Inp_Folder
